They risked it all for the Arepas! In 2014, brothers Pedro and Andres Barrientos had the desire to start a business of their own. Pedro was still living in Monterrey, Mexico, at the time and Andres was working in a restaurant part time here in Austin, TX.

In 2015, they bought their first food truck in Austin! It quickly became an entire family affair. Their mom was a huge part of Four Brothers. Without her authentic Venezuelan recipes, they would not exist today. Her recipes partnered with their sister Patty's design skills, their other sister Caro's operations skills, Andres' food service skills, and Pedro's desire to run a business -- Four Brothers was born.

Today, they do this in honor of their mom who went to her eternal home in August of 2021. Their goal is to elevate the presence of Venezuelan cuisine in Austin, and then to the nation. Together, as a family.
