BC Tacos

BC Tacos is a well-known food truck in Fort Lauderdale, FL, famous for its gourmet tacos that bring together unique and fresh flavors. Founded by Brett Chiavari, the truck started serving the community in 2011 and has since become a staple in the local food scene. Chiavari's inspiration for BC Tacos came from his love of fish tacos, which he discovered while working as an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager in Orlando. This passion led him to create a menu that offers a diverse range of taco options, from classic steak and chicken to more adventurous choices like buffalo mahi and fried avocado.

BC Tacos' menu features over 15 different types of tacos, served in fresh-made hard corn or soft flour tortillas, with a variety of homemade salsas. Some of the standout options include braised beef short rib, chicken, mahi, and pulled pork tacos. For those seeking something a bit different, they offer gourmet riffs like the Steakhouse taco, which includes filet mignon, creamed spinach, fried onions, and béarnaise aioli, and the Shrimp & Grits taco with grilled shrimp, fried cheese grits, bacon, and Old Bay aioli.

The success of the food truck led to the opening of two brick-and-mortar locations: BC Café in Davie and a new spot in Coral Springs. These locations continue the tradition of offering the same delicious tacos along with additional menu items like burgers, sliders, and salads. The restaurants also feature daily specials and a casual dining atmosphere that complements the truck's offerings.
