Bringing the taste of Tex Mex to Middle Tennessee

We grew up in central Texas...Waco to be exact. Yes, the home of Chip & Jo, Baylor University, Dr. Pepper, and so much more. It wasn't quite that glamorous in the 80's but has been thriving more and more each year. (Another fun fact, Chip & Jo featured my childhood home in season 4, with the prickly pear house.) But back to the point...Since Waco is also known as the 'Heart of Texas' it was the inspiration for the name of our business.

Justin's passion is food and after moving to Tennessee 5 years ago, we instantly loved it here but were missing the taste of Tex Mex. With15 years of Executive Chef experience owning a bakery, deli, fajita delivery restaurant, combined with my 25 years in the hospitality/food & beverage industry it was only natural for us to jump back into the food business. A food truck has always been on Justin's list of adventures so he's managed to make it happen.

We love our TN home, our insurance office, the local community, our customers and our friends in the Brentwood/Nolensville area. We are so grateful for the opportunity to share a little bit of our central Texas history and food with you!
